When I bought my house, I was puzzled by the lack of windows in what would be the master bedroom downstairs. It wasn't a big deal, though, because I figured I could always have some installed. However, as I started looking into it further, I discovered that there were actually windows there. The previous owners installed exterior siding and interior drywall over the existing windows instead of replacing those windows when they needed it. That's when I decided it was time to call a repair and restoration contractor. I didn't want to risk trying to do the job on my own. He taught me a lot about how the job was done, and by the time it was over, I not only had windows in my room, but they were brand new. I created this site to share my experience and help others with similar renovations.
